A job title is only
part of the story.
It began with a spontaneous jam at Psynergy. People from different musical worlds met, listened, and found something worth returning to.
We come from the working world. Alongside our careers, we have lived with pressure and anxiety; some of us have experienced burnout or depression, and the cost of pursuing success at the expense of health or relationships.
Music became a place to explore another part of ourselves. Reverb Psychology brings acoustic instruments and electronic textures together through curiosity, improvisation and connection.
The name
Dabbous’s love of reverb and unusual textures meets a creative friendship with a psychologist, with whom he first learned music production. A connection that keeps resonating.

Bring an instrument, a voice, an idea or a skill. Jam, explore and record with us. Co-creation also means filming, sharing talents, building a presence and opening doors for one another.

Our curiosity crosses genres and cultures. We make space for different tastes and traditions, bringing people together through our shared humanity. One person’s success can create possibilities for everyone.
The collaborations we want to build
Rooted locally. Open to the world.
We want to co-create with Saudi traditional ensembles—from Ardah in the Central Region and Samsamiyah in Yanbu to the musical traditions of Hail, Al Ahsa and Al Baha—then explore regional and global collaborations. New arrangements can invite new audiences to discover the people and cultures behind the music.
We also hope to work with organisations caring for children without parental care, creating opportunities to record children’s songs together. These are invitations and future directions; partnerships are still to be developed.

reverberating.
Our first recordings are taking shape. We are also exploring a documentary series following our working lives, rehearsals, collaborations and performances across Saudi cities. A first season rooted in Saudi Arabia, with live music at its heart.
Filmed performances and livestreams are part of the idea. We are looking for collaborators to help turn it into a focused pilot.
